Why work with me?
I bring warmth, a friendly face, and a supportive, hands‑on teaching style. My classes begin with energy, enthusiasm and creativity, and end with soothing assists, grounding forward folds and gentle massage.
I’m professional, reliable and a genuine team player — happy to help between classes, communicate clearly, and step in when things change unexpectedly. Alongside teaching, I have a strong background in administration, marketing and customer service — skills that support smooth communication, organisation and teamwork within studio environments.

My Teaching Journey
Yoga Rhythm & Early Training (2016–2017)
I completed my first 200‑hour Yoga Teacher Training with Charli Van Ness (Sparkes) at Yard Yoga in Forest Row, alongside an additional 100 hours of CPD in meditation, nidra and nada yoga. This training was deeply transformative and rooted in Charli’s unique Yoga Rhythm style — choreographed sequences to music, incorporating mudras, mantras and visualisation. During this time I taught on retreat in Italy, (to fellow trainees, a voluntary class at Yard Yoga and even taught a sacred singing circle at The Lost Village Festival.
Stepping Into Studio Teaching (2023–2024)
With Charli’s encouragement, I began teaching publicly and quickly gained experience across a variety of studios, including:
-
The Roade House Yoga Studio
-
Optimum You
-
Ironstone Wellbeing Centre
-
Hotpod Yoga Northampton
-
Hotpod Yoga Daventry
I taught everything from Yoga Rhythm workshops and dynamic Vinyasa flows to gentle classes, chair yoga in a retirement village, and 1:1 sessions in clients’ homes. I landed at Hotpod and now teach regular classes there, 7 classes per week, plus covers.
For the last two years I’ve also taught at The Bedford Running Festival, leading yoga sessions — a role I’m honoured to continue this year.
Deepening My Practice & Advanced Training (2025–Present)
In 2025 I enrolled in a second 200‑hour training at The Shala London with Charli and Gingi Lee. Their blend of feminine flow, Ashtanga discipline and intelligent sequencing has profoundly shaped my teaching.
A highlight of this period was being invited to teach at Charli and Matt’s wedding weekend in Totnes — a beautiful honour and a testament to the trust my mentors place in me.
I am now working toward my 300‑hour advanced certification, continuing to refine my teaching with dedication and curiosity.
